These painters shorts fit well around the waist, but they are too long for me though younger guys may prefer the length. Ironically these pants aren't very rugged. Pretty light weight and not holding up well to a hard day at work. But they aren't very expensive, so I consider them a throw away kind of product. It was worth a try, but I probably won't buy Rugged Blue again.
